Manhattan Panoramic

This is one of the most spectacular photographs ever taken of Manhattan. Photographed from atop the eastern tower of the Brooklyn Bridge by Joshua Beal in 1876. Many landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge under construction, Trinity Church, St. Pauls Church (near the site where the Twin Towers would eventually be built), Harper's building, Home Newsboys, windmills, ferries, etc., can be seen in this photo.
